Dr. Michael Guralnick of the Center on Human Development and Disability in Seattle has outlined a Developmental Systems Approach (DSA), a recommended early intervention structure describing the pathway through which a child and family should move through decision points and services in their community, from referral to transition.  Kindering Center is the only program nationally that fully adheres to the comprehensive and coordinated offerings of the  DSA.   At Dr. Guralnick’s invitation, Kindering submitted an article in the July 2006 issue of Infants and Young Children describing our program as a proposed national model.
