Project Description

Fathers Network

“The Fathers Network has made me realize that I’m not alone. The fellows in this group are my heroes and I am honored to know them and be part of this organization.”

“This group threw me a lifeline when I really needed someone. I will always remember that.”

“It’s nice to meet with other dads and to share my experiences. Everyone is accepting and the meetings have been wonderful for emotional support.”

The Washington State Fathers Network connects fathers of children of all ages who have special needs with each other and with resources, information, and education to assist them as they become more competent and compassionate caregivers for their children.

Join us for some very productive discussions, and the chance to meet other men who are committed to being involved, knowledgeable, and connected dads! Click here to find the 2016-2017 meeting schedule. For more information please contact Louis Mendoza at (425) 653-4286 or email him here.

Join the Fathers Network Facebook Group!

This private Facebook group is a place where dads can share information, resources and discuss issues of common interest. Open to all fathers whose children currently receive services at Kindering as well as alumni fathers. Click here to send a request to join the group or search ‘Kindering Dads’ on Facebook.

The mission of Washington State Fathers Network (WSFN) is to promote fathers as crucially important people in their children and families’ lives. We firmly believe men are superb resources for each other and fathers have special needs of their own when it comes to raising a child with chronic illness or developmental disability.
