Kindering’s 30th Annual Auction Gala Recap

Kindering’s 30th Annual Auction Gala Raises Over $700,000!

On April 27th, we hosted our 30th Annual Auction Gala at the Bellevue Hyatt Regency, attended by over 350 guests.

Together, we raised over $700,000 to provide critical therapies and services for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and complex behavioral and medical needs, and their families.

Tyrah Majors, an Emmy-winning journalist and anchor at KOMO 4 News and the ARC Seattle Morning Show, Seattle University professor, and childrenโ€™s book author, donated her time to serve as emcee for the event.

CEO Dr. Lisa Greenwald said, โ€œEvery year, we put ourselves out there and ask our community to come through for the kids we serve. And every year, the community responds with an outpouring of love, enthusiasm, and generosity. To those of you who are helping us make our mission a reality for kids with disabilities and their families, I want to say an enormous thank you. We couldnโ€™t do it without you.โ€

The evening program included a moving video featuring a Woodinville-based family, Stephanie and Stephen Walsh, with their three children: Liam, 12 years old; Darcie, 9 years old; and Maisie, 2.5 years old. Little Maisie has been through many services with Kindering, including feeding and occupational therapies, vision support, and now, Stepping Stones inclusive preschool.

The Auction Gala was co-chaired by Kindering alum parents Cari and Greg Benn, who shared their Kindering journey on stage.

Thanks to your support, we won’t miss a moment to make a difference!
