2024 Night Out for Kindering raises over $10,000!

Huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Celaeno Winery and Glass Distillery in Woodinville on July 24, 2024, for Night Out for Kindering. Over 55 guests joined us for this incredible evening with fun games and competitive bidding wars, and most importantly, it was a culmination of our Disability Pride Month celebrations.

Disability Pride Month is celebrated every July and is an opportunity to honor the history, achievements, experiences, and struggles of the disability community. Why July? It marks the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), landmark legislation that broke down barriers to inclusion in society. (Source: The Arc). At Kindering, we celebrated with our community all month long (and then some)!

Together, we raised over $10,000 to provide pediatric therapies, special education, family supports, and more to our kids and families.

Here are a few other highlights from our Disability Pride Month celebrations:

• We held two awesome events — Night Out for Kindering and Colors of Disability Pride;
• We engaged with local city governments on official Disability Pride Month Proclamations; and
• We organized an online campaign awareness campaign with fellow disability advocates and organizations!
