Resources
Kindering can provide resource lists and contact information for assistance with many needs, including: Basic Needs (food, shelter, clothing, transportation, financial assistance); Childcare, Preschool, and Playgroups (further defined by subsidy availability, toileting requirements, and accommodations for children with special needs); Healthcare Resources; Holiday Assistance; Multi-cultural Resources; Parenting Classes; Recreation; and Summer Camps. In addition, we are able to process orders on behalf of our families to receive donated items from KidVantage (formerly known as Eastside Baby Corner). Please contact your Family Resources Coordinator for any resource and information needs you have.
Videos
The following videos were produced in partnership by The Arc of King County and King County Developmental Disabilities Division Early Supports Program. They feature parents of children with disabilities sharing their insight regarding sibling support, parent support, and IFSP (Individual Family Service Plan) development. These videos were created with King County’s ARRA (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) funds.
