Stepping Stones Toddler Preschool

Looking for a Drop-Off Preschool for your Toddler? Stepping Stones Toddler Preschool program at Kindering is an integrated program for children 22 months-3.5 years old. Our program runs year round and kids can enroll throughout the year!

Our program is designed to support learning opportunities and social experiences for young children of all abilities. Our staff is highly educated and keenly attuned to the varying developmental needs of young children. Stepping Stones has a high staff-to-child ratio (4:12) and each class is staffed by a highly qualified teacher and a teaching assistant. Additionally, a speech-language pathologist and physical/occupational therapist participate in all activities.

Children are active explorers who learn by playing with people and in different environments. Stepping Stones is a place for toddlers to:

  • Have fun and develop new interests
  • Make friends
  • Become familiar with preschool routines
  • Learn to interact with a variety of adults and children in a comfortable environment
  • Build communication and social skills
  • Practice independence and self-help
  • Enhance physical development
  • Experience developmentally appropriate activities such as art, singing, snack time, pretend play, sensory exploration, and active motor play
  • Participate in classroom activities during caregiver engagement time

Who can join?  

Stepping Stones is for toddlers ages 22 months to 3.5 years.  

Class details  

Classes meet twice a week for 2 hours each session. Day and time vary, depending on location.

Classes are offered in English & Spanish, depending on location.

The drop off component of class is 90 minutes and consists of free play, snack, motor room, and circle time. The additional 30 minutes of class is reserved for caregiver engagement and class connection time.  

How much does it cost?  

Preschool tuition is $220/month with a one-time $50.00 non-refundable registration fee. A sliding fee scale for preschool tuition is available based on need.
