Developmental Evaluations
Comprehensive developmental assessments are offered at no cost to families for children ages birth to three that evaluate each child’s individual abilities and needs.
CHERISHâ„¢
CHERISHâ„¢ is an infant mental health program designed to meet the unique needs of children in the child welfare system and their caregivers in tandem with a traditional early support program.
CUBS
The CUBS program provides extended individualized instruction time, specialized therapies, and social support for children with autism or similar diagnoses and their families.
Families in Transition (FIT)
Kindering’s FIT program helps parents meet their child’s development needs. Our program is customized for families who are experiencing housing instability or may have other barriers to accessing our services.
Family Co-op Play Group
Parents and caregivers participate in this structured playgroup designed to support and educate young children with developmental delays and/or disabilities and their families in a fun, safe learning environment.
Family Resource Coordinator
Your Family Resource Coordinator will assist with the planning and management of services, and act as your main point of contact during your family’s time at Kindering.
Nutrition and Feeding Therapy
Nutrition and Feeding Therapy works to support you and your child as they learn the mechanics and enjoyment of eating. Children will also learn to explore foods in a safe and fun way.
Infant Mental Health Support
Kindering’s Infant Mental Health team will work with your family, as part of your child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP), to support how you relate to your child and how your child relates to you.
Physical and Occupational Therapy
Physical and Occupational Therapy helps children to reach motor milestones (sitting, crawling, walking, etc.), manage sensory processing challenges, and thrive in day-to-day life.
Speech and Language Therapy
Speech and Language Therapy helps children develop foundational skills to acquire language and foster relationships in their natural environment through sounds, gestures, words, sign language, and/or Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC).
Special Education Services
An Early Childhood Special Educator will assess your child’s development and help create a plan, using play and social-emotional skills as a foundation for learning, focusing on developmental goals that are important to your family.
Stepping Stones Toddler Preschool
Stepping Stones Toddler Preschool is an integrated, early childhood enrichment program designed to support learning opportunities and social experiences for young children of all abilities, ages 22 months to 3.5 years.
Virtual Services
A variety of Kindering’s therapies and supports for children and families are available online, both to Kindering families and to the public right from the comfort of your home.
