Kindering’s FIT program helps parents meet the needs of their child’s development. Our program is customized for families who are experiencing housing instability, or may have other barriers to accessing services at Kindering.

Comprehensive developmental assessments at no cost to families for children ages birth to three that evaluate each child's individual abilities and needs.

Your Family Resources Coordinator will assist with coordination of services and act as a main contact during your time at Kindering.

Helps children to reach motor milestones (sitting, crawling, walking, etc.), develop functional skills and increase their mobility.

Develops and enhances children's functional communication skills through spoken or sign language, picture exchange, and technology.

Parenting a child with special needs is a journey of hope, fear, grief and joy. Along the way, people may experience intense feelings, stress responses, parenting concerns and conflict within the family.

A structured playgroup designed to support and educate young children with special needs and their families in a fun, safe learning environment.

Evaluates and treats nutritional and feeding difficulties to support you and your child as he or she learns the mechanics and pleasures of eating.

Infant mental health home visiting program designed to meet the needs of children in the child welfare system and their foster parent, relative caregiver, and/or parents. Services available for children ages 0-3 and 3-5 years.

Provides extended instruction time, specialized therapies, and social support for children with autism spectrum disorders and their families.
